The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said he asked the director of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), Douglas Rico, to call and quote the lady who, using her status as a journalist, published that the bodies found in Delta Amacuro had gunshot wounds.

“During an operation, we found a boat at the end of Delta Amacuro, with 14 bodies all from Africa and the medical report revealed that they died of hunger and dehydration,” he explained during his Con El Mazo Dando #529 program.

He specified that a “journalist” lady said that the bodies found in Venezuelan waters had injuries caused by firearms. “He doesn't have the slightest idea, but the intention is to say that there is violence in Venezuela,” he denounced.

“I asked the director of the CICPC to call her and quote her so that she can prove that what she says is true, and that those bodies have bullet wounds,” he said.

He also asserted that behind the so-called freedom of expression hides manipulation, lies and recalled that “people have the right to say what they want, but they must bear the consequences of what they say”.

He emphasized that they use their status as communicators to lie, to harm their own country and they lend themselves to that game for four miserable dollars.

“They get upset and say that El Mazo exposes them, no, El Mazo doesn't expose them, they write that themselves,” he said.
