Cabello: PSUV will advance in the constituent process and in the strengthening of Popular Power

The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela presented President Nicolas's proposals for approval to the delegates present at the Extraordinary Plenary of the 5th Congress of the PSUV and the 4th Congress of the JPSV.

During the plenary session, as the first point was approved: Advancing the constituent process and strengthening popular power, as well as guaranteeing new methods of government with direct execution, “a participatory and leading democracy in practice (...) Transform the old old structures of governorates and mayors to end corruption and bureaucratism before the end of this year.”

Point number 2 was also approved, which states: Guarantee new methods of governance with direct execution. “Consolidate the new system of Popular Government, assuming as fundamental lines the concrete agenda of action, dream maps, communal self-government rooms, the 1 X 10 of Good Government, the Popular Consultations,” he added.

He announced that the coordination of these tasks will be carried out by the vice-president, Delcy Rodríguez and himself, “following the guidelines of President Nicolas Maduro”.
