Cabello recognized the sergeants and canines who detect drugs: They are champions and champions!

This Thursday, November 20, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recognized the sergeants and canines of the State security forces who work in drug detection.

“These dogs are champions and champions; and the sergeants who work, the professionals who work together with the canines (...) they really have to be recognized because they have a pupil to detect where the drug comes from and how it comes from,” he said during the inauguration of the National Risk Management Training Center in the Agua Blanca sector of Portuguesa.

I point out that there have been operations in which it is possible to observe what canines and equipment for the detection of drugs and explosives are capable of doing. “You have to treat these animals with great love, it's not easy to train a canine to fight drugs and explosives; as well as to search for people,” he said.

He also highlighted that the Bolivarian Government is now making an effort to bring specialist dogs to Venezuela. “The first batch of canines has arrived; in addition to having our breeding ground in the country, that is essential because not all dogs are good for all tasks,” he said.

On the other hand, he took the opportunity to call on young people to stay away from drugs. “That's the downfall for you and your family,” he said.
