Cabello: Sanctions are against the Venezuelan people

The United States disguises attacks against the People by claiming that sanctions are against government officials, even though these measures directly affect the quality of life of Venezuelans, said the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“The sanctions are against the people of Venezuela. When they prevent Venezuela from being able to freely sell its natural resources such as oil and gold, they are attacking the people,” emphasized during the swearing in of the re-elected governor of that entity, Miguel Rodríguez.

In this regard, he recalled all the actions that the National Government had to take to ensure that medicines and vaccines arrived in the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“During the pandemic, they banned (the United States) from selling vaccines for the People to Venezuela, but this town with President Nicolás Maduro at the helm was able to bring the vaccines and immunize all Venezuelans, without asking anyone for a political card,” he said.
