The first vice-president of the
United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the
customary red awning press conference, specified that he recalled the events
that took place in the country in 2002, when the right wing carried out a coup against Commander Hugo Chávez.
In that regard, he specified that the Armed Forces and
the People had never been seen rescuing a President, while noting that the right wing “wanted to
bathe the streets with blood to accuse Commander Chávez.”
Cabello assured that the right wing has never cared about what the People say, “they were not aware of what the People wanted, the People
wanted to see Chávez; and they stole everything in a while. They can't handle the dignity
of our people.”
He also said that the right wing did not “count on this
people, it did not have the most authentic civic and military union and that until today
it is consolidated”.
