The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured that the historical summary made by the revolutionary leaders, “from the days of greatest pain, of the forerunner generation, of death, persecution, of disappearances to the moments of greatest splendor.”
In this regard, he reminded the revolutionary youth that in the Fourth Republic, in Venezuela, university education was not guaranteed, “everything changed with the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez and the Bolivarian Revolution.”
In that regard, he commented on the willingness of the Bolivarian Government to guarantee its university capacity.
“Here before I studied the one who had (resources) (...) the opposition seeks to privatize education,” he said.
The approach was made in reference to the different stages, which “we have experienced in recent years, such as our dear and beloved María León, Adán (Chávez), José Alejandro (Terán), Genesis”.
This was stated at the Caracas Polyhedron, where he participated in the V Congress of the PSUV and the IV Youth Congress (JPSUV), led by the president of the red awning, Nicolás Maduro, for the acceptance of his candidacy for the 2024 Presidential Election.
He expressed his greeting to everyone “with great affection, respect and admiration to all the leaders and militants of our Party, which every day is on the streets, in communities, in UBCH, in parishes, municipalities, states and all of Venezuela.”
He also extended greetings to Commander Chávez's relatives present at the event.
Cabello considered that the event was extraordinary because of the fervor of the militancy.
