This Friday, during the broadcast of the program Sin Truco Ni Maña, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, together with the deputy Tania Díaz, highlighted an article in the American newspaper The New York Times in which he states that the investigation by US intelligence into the accusations against Venezuelans linked to The Aragua Train contradicts Donald Trump.

“The Trump administration declared that the gang was invading the United States (USA) under the direction of the Venezuelan government of President Nicolás Maduro. An evaluation by the US intelligence services concluded that the gang was not controlled by the Government of Venezuela nor was it acting under its orders,” says the article published by The New York Times.

“Here we haven't received anyone from the Aragua Train and they were filled there saying that they are from the Aragua Train. That's not true! And I must say it responsibly, yesterday the list of Venezuelans who are in El Salvador came out, and we also have the organization chart of the remaining bands,” he said.

The North American newspaper published that “the document, dated February 26, summarized the shared opinion of the country's spy agencies that the gang was not controlled by the Venezuelan government.”

In this regard, the general secretary of the PSUV added: “We disintegrated them here in Venezuela and those who remained were taken away by Uribe as protégés, and he has turned them into operators of the hired killings in Colombia.”

He also highlighted that the result of the sent list of those kidnapped in El Salvador showed that none appear in the organization chart of the extinct criminal gang El Tren de Aragua. “Yesterday, a high military commander came out in Colombia saying that he had captured a criminal from the Aragua Train, and it's a lie, he's part of the El Flipper gang,” he said.

According to the report of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Research Corps (CICPC), by the director of this organization Douglas Rico, none belong to the extinct gang, used by the Trump administration to criminalize Venezuelans.

The United States refuses to recognize the truth (...). Yesterday we gave the parents and relatives of the detainees a letter about the criminal record,” he stressed.
