This Monday, the first vice-president of the United Socialist
Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed
that on September 28, the militancy of the red awning will take to the
streets to celebrate two months of the popular victory of President Nicolás Maduro.
“The 28th of this month marks two months since the great popular victory of the presidential elections, where brother President Nicolás Maduro was elected and that fills us with joy (...) So on the 28th we are going to hold state marches; in all the states of Venezuela, Chavism is mobilizing to celebrate the victory of July 28,” he said during the PSUV press conference this Monday.
With regard to the two-month anniversary of the
victory, he indicated that the People have already taken on all the tasks and preparations for
the inauguration to take place on January 10, 2025. “We have
to prepare for a great day of celebrations. And where do those celebrations take place?
Always on the street next to the town,” he said.
He reaffirmed that, unlike other political
sectors in the country, Chavism does have reasons to celebrate and it
always “is with joy, without bitterness, bitterness is experienced by others and, above
all, others, who live with a perennial, permanent, sick bitterness”.
On the other hand, he emphasized that the PSUV remains in permanent deployment with the task entrusted by President Nicolás Maduro on the 5 generations and 7 forces for the Historical Congress that begins next October. At the same time, he assured that house-to-house visits are also maintained in all communities.
