Cabello: The PSUV refines details for the 22nd and 23rd consultation in order to nominate candidates

This Monday, February 10, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that the red awning refines details for what will be the consultation of 22 and 23 for the nomination of candidates for the elections of April 27.

“The congress decided that the 22nd and 23rd will be the consultation and that is not done alone, that we have to work on it, that's why the youth political team and the party's political team are here working,” he said.

In that regard, he recalled that there is an Electoral Commission to receive all the proposals and collect the data and then submit the proposal of the bases to the Political High Command.

He specified that, as it has always been, there are strategic points from a political and territorial point of view, and in these cases the Political High Command and the president have been authorized to make the appropriate decisions. “Those are the exceptions, the rest will be the nominations made by our people,” he said.

He took advantage of the opportunity that for this reason the Youth of the PSUV, this year, did not accompany the 16,000 kilometer march that is taking place to commemorate what the hero José Félix Riva did with the students more than 200 years ago.
