Cabello: The state of Zulia will rise first as an economic, political and cultural stronghold

During the Organizing Political Meeting of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the first vice-president of the Red Awning, Diosdado Cabello, from the municipality of Maracaibo, assured that the state of Zulia will rise first as an economic, political and cultural stronghold.

“We have to ensure a victory in the state of Zulia,” said Cabello, while reiterating that the effort and detachment of each of the revolutionaries is fundamental, since “it is important to understand the historic moment we are seeing and to consolidate ourselves as what we are, the main political force in the country.”

Cabello highlighted that the state of Zulia has more than 12% of the country's Electoral Register (RE), “2 million 581 thousand voters and that will grow with the new registration. It is a state of extraordinary dimensions, if we add San Francisco and Maracaibo, its voters are greater than 16 states in the country.”

“The electoral importance of the state of Zulia is not only electoral, but everything is a function of the common good, of the collective,” he said.

He also insisted that it is much easier to coordinate when the levels of government are intertwined, that is, “Popular Power, as in the instance of collective management, municipalities with mayors and states with governors.”

“Coordinated work is necessary, without meanness of any kind. Despite the fact that the amount of resources available is low due to pressure on our country, despite the sanctions, blockade, this country is going to rise up,” said Cabello.
