Cabello: The UN is passive and calm with those countries that are exterminating peoples

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, questioned the role of the United Nations (UN), because it is an organization that does not work for the sake of Peoples' peace.

“What is the United Nations for? Someone who can name an achievement? We could say that the UN is passive and calm with those countries that are exterminating peoples,” Cabello emphasized during the World Youth Congress of Anti-Fascist Students.

He stressed that, unfortunately, international organizations play in favor of fascism, while recalling that the UN has done nothing about the imperial blockade that Cuba has been experiencing for more than sixty years.

“Let's not expect anything from the UN, let's do it ourselves, you girls and boys of the world, set great goals and that these meetings be repeated to unite us in the fight for peace,” he said.
