Cabello: There are a large number of Venezuelans who are not members of the Revolution but maintain a position of defending sovereignty

More than 95% of Venezuelans disagree that there is an invasion against our country, which means that there are a large number of compatriots who, although not militant in the Revolution, maintain a position of defending our sovereignty, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“We (the Revolution) are the majority but we don't have 95%. This means that there are a large number of Venezuelans who, although they are not in the ranks of the Revolution, maintain a position of sovereignty. Homeland sellers are reduced to their minimum expression,” he said during the extraordinary plenary session of the V Congress of the PSUV.

In this sense, Cabello criticized those voices of the extreme right who, insistently, ask imperialism to militarily attack the country and offer to give it our wealth in return. “They, their last speeches are in English because they don't speak to the people, no one listens to them here anymore,” he emphasized.

“They are agents of imperialism who had the accident, in their lives, of being born here. For them that is an accident, they would be proud to say that they were born in Michigan, Boston, they are not proud to have been born in this country, that's why they do what they do,” he stressed.
