Cabello: Those arrested in operations in the fight against drug trafficking are well protected and collaborating

The Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that all those arrested during the various operations in the fight against drug trafficking are well protected by national authorities, are collaborating and the investigation is continuing.

“There are many detainees who are not going to show the photo because they also provide information, we are doing intelligence work and we should not expose it,” said Cabello Rondón during a press conference.

He asserted that among the detainees there are logistics coordinators from the different sites, they are recruited by the mafias, so we must go further.

He also stated that the Bolivarian Government is going to destroy the logistics route that goes through Apure, Anzoátegui, Guárico, Bolívar and Delta Amacuro, since “that route is more complicated, longer in distance, but we are going to destroy it as we did with the one on Lake Maracaibo.”
