This Sunday, July 28, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed that in our country there is a “participatory and leading democracy, attached to the strictest sense of Popular Power.”
In this regard, from the Rafael María Baralt Educational Unit in El Furrial, Monagas state, he stressed that the electoral process that Venezuela is currently experiencing is number 31 in these 25 years and that “speaks a lot about the democratic nature of the Bolivarian Revolution”.
He reaffirmed that in Venezuela the right to vote is guaranteed, “because each person is a vote; that's an old story that a person could vote several times, that stayed in the Fourth Republic, now each person is a vote.”
He noted that Venezuela has already passed that stage of manual voting, “today the people know they are going to vote and their vote is safe.”
