The
general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello
Rondón, highlighted this Monday that the Bolivarian Government has continued to operate
under the guidelines left by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro,
before being kidnapped on January 3 during the
criminal military aggression perpetrated by the United States (USA) against the country.
In this regard, during the weekly press conference of the red awning, he took stock of the activities carried out by the president in charge
Delcy Rodríguez, who convened the National Defense Council, in which the decree of State of Shock that President Maduro “had
signed in the event of an attack”
was issued.
“That document
was signed and approved by President Nicolás Maduro. A Council of
Ministers was formed, and the National Assembly was sworn in as president
in charge. There were meetings with the Agrifood, Industrial and
Community Staff and street activities and activities to strengthen National Production.
He was in the José Félix Rivas commune and in Antímano,” Cabello explained
about the activities of the Executive after the US aggression.
In this regard,
he stressed that “Venezuela continued to govern in accordance with the instructions
left by President Nicolás Maduro, of the works to be delivered to the
different communities”, and emphasized that “Venezuela is not going to stop, it will continue to move forward, it will
continue in peace”, so he asked the population “to focus on our truth (...) We all know what is happening in Venezuela.
From other places they want us to meddle in their agenda trying to
deceive, to manipulate, to keep telling lies,” he warned.
