The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that he arrived on October 19 and the canonization of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Elena Rendiles took place as planned.

“We have dos Santos, Saint José Gregorio Hernández and Santa Carmen Rendiles,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program.

In broadcast number 548, he highlighted that “about 30 days ago they told us that until the 19th, we are already on the 22nd. They're going to go crazy thinking it's crazy. Keep believing your crazy people, the smoke sellers.”

He also maintained that “the 19th happened despite the sabotage of some of those who look like Zamuros with their elegant cassocks, which they tried to sabotage. Those who have been doing it historically”.

Cabello said that “whoever does not want to believe in the Saints does not believe, there is freedom of worship here, but respect those who do believe in the Saints, then.”

“That is the basis of coexistence, of respect for what you believe and what I believe,” he said.
