Cabello: Venezuela strongly supports Iran in its right to defend itself

The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that Venezuela's position is strong in relation to supporting the People of Iran and their Government in their right to defend their territory and defend themselves against attacks.

“Iran had a lot of patience, tolerating any number of attacks and threats. Iran gave an answer in the name of the world and in the face so that they learn to respect, because they (Israel) are only based on the supposed support that imperialism gives them, which offers them weapons and equipment,” he said.

Cabello added that, since the PSUV, “we are consistent with our position. Today we are marching for peace, but peace implies that Israel ceases to be the patotero of the Arab peoples (...) Today Venezuela, in that, is very consistent.”
