The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, referring to the recent acts of violence in the country, said that “we tell Venezuela and the world that this was the real plan of the opposition.”
“In truth, the electoral issue is not his strong suit. They wanted violence right from the start, that's why we see those expressions of hate, of fascism that attack human beings,” he emphasized.
Faced with this scenario, Cabello stressed that today the world is watching what is happening in Venezuela, since the international observers who participated in the Presidential Election are still in the country.
“They are sending their information to the world of what they are seeing,” he said.
He explained that the whole country “woke up in peace, suddenly the order came to attack extremely strange people in some places in Venezuela, who are not even from the area where the acts of violence began.”
This was stated by Cabello, at the Miraflores Palace, from where the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, addressed the Venezuelan people to offer a message about the acts of violence promoted by the extremist right.
Cabello confirmed that this Tuesday, July 30, a mobilization will take place, starting at 2:00pm, “for the protection of the Miraflores Palace with a big motorized march, we are going to leave Petare, to see what it is like, then.”
He also commented that “since last night we have been following up on your instructions, with the elections, the announcement of the ballots, by the electoral body.”
