Cabello: We will carry out the task in the state of Zulia with a lot of revolutionary passion (+photos)

This Monday, March 11, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stated that the task entrusted by President Nicolás Maduro for the state of Zulia will be undertaken “with a lot of revolutionary passion”.

“I hope to have the support of all the colleagues who are here and who are outside; and I am sure that on July 28 we will be singing a safe victory in the state of Zulia and not only in the state of Zulia but in all of Venezuela. Is it going to be achieved alone? It's not going to be achieved alone, it's achieved with everyone's work,” Cabello emphasized after the working meeting with the special political team of the PSUV for the state of Zulia.

In that regard, he also called on Zulians to actively join in working with the Revolution. “I want to send greetings on behalf of our President (Nicolás Maduro) and of the National Directorate to all Zulians and invite them to actively incorporate each one of you into the Bolivarian Revolution and to the development of our country, to a Venezuelan power, to Venezuela that does not give up, Venezuela capable of enduring, enduring, resisting and lifting itself from blockades, sanctions and persecution and today it says it is present and it stands up,” he urged.

He also recognized that the people of Zulia have been a bastion in Venezuela's resistance against imperialism. In turn, he highlighted the great task that the structures of the PSUV have to ensure the victory of next July 28 in the entity.

“They will have a task on election day (...) a great effort of machinery so that on election day no one is left without voting and that the state of Zulia will once again be the vanguard state of Chavista voting throughout the country (.. .) We have to secure a victory in the state of Zulia,” he said.

He said that street teams will be taken from 4 to 10, as will community teams, “to recognize all the street leaders of the communities of our country,” he emphasized and reaffirmed that “coordinated work is necessary, without meanness of any kind. Despite the fact that the amount of resources available is low due to pressure on our country, despite the sanctions, blockade, this country is going to rise up.”

In the same way, he assured that they have arrived there to work and “the National Government is not going to remove the body, where there is a problem, the Government will be responding in public services, in health, in education, wherever it is,” he said while asking the PSUV to accompany these tasks because it is the “common denominator in the state.”

On the other hand, Cabello highlighted the participation of militants in the assemblies of the PSUV's grassroots structures for the election of the presidential candidate. “President Nicolás Maduro received the support of 4 million 240 thousand 32 militants to be the candidate in the elections of July 28, 2024,” he said and highlighted that 317,187 meetings were held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

“An exercise of participatory and leading democracy established in our constitution, where the People play the leading role; decisions are made by the People (...) this is the militancy of the PSUV that participated in visible, verifiable assemblies; they raised their hands and nominated President Nicolás Maduro Moros as a candidate for the elections of July 28 by the Bolivarian force. An almost uniform record across the country,” he said.

For this reason, he confirmed that the PSUV is and will continue to be one of the greatest “strengths of the Revolution, it is the vanguard party” of our country.
