Cabello: We're going with a candidate on July 28 and we're going to beat them

During his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 467, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reaffirmed that the revolutionary forces will be united and in victory with a single candidate in the next presidential elections on July 28, 2024.

“Go with 50 candidates and you beat us, because if you have so many, you (the opposition) have plenty of them. We're going with one and we're going to beat him, rest assured that we're going to beat him,” said Cabello, referring to the fact that they keep eating the story of pollsters who always put winners on the right.

He also reaffirmed that the PSUV has been working to win a new electoral victory. “We are ready, because we have always believed that we are ready for when the referee (National Electoral Council) says,” he said and recalled that the date was set after the electoral body evaluated the proposals by the political parties and sectors of the country's national life.

He stressed that the red awning will hold meetings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday so that those who elect the candidate of the Revolution can be heard from the rank and file of the structures of the PSUV. “Let the grassroots speak and decide, I am sure, all Chavistas have been very clear about that for a long time, but it is the procedure we must do to comply with the Constitution and the Law (...) On Monday, a meeting of state, parish and municipal political teams in all states to receive the proposal from the rank and file and on March 15 the meeting of the Congress of Game to finish,” he said.

“We are going to register our candidate in the time that the CNE said , because ours is going, ours is going,” he emphasized and confirmed that the PSUV is ready, “we have done our homework and we have studied, we have days studying, those who have not studied are giving birth, those who leave things until the last minute, the PSUV has a political structure deployed throughout Venezuela, we are not triumphalists, but we have the task ahead of us.”

He also called on the revolutionary forces to remain united in the face of this new electoral battle. “Unity, maximum cohesion, no more groups, here what is at stake is the Presidency of the Republic, nothing else is at stake, we'll see later, but we have to always stay united and when the enemy finds us always united,” he said.

We will move forward with or without sanctions

With regard to the renewal by the United States Government of Barack Obama's decree that considers Venezuela “an unusual and extraordinary threat”, the revolutionary leader praised the conscience of this people who are capable of moving forward with or without sanctions.

“Faced with the call for elections and consultation with the People according to our Constitution, what did the United States do? Renew the sanctions! Are we surprised? No. Do you scare us? Not at this point, we are going to get ahead with sanctions or without sanctions, the stability of our country will be above the actions of imperialism,” he criticized.

He stressed that this renewal “allows all the decisions that (Donald) Trump made to remain in force. ” In addition, he described the renewal of that decree as “ridiculous”.

At the same time, he reaffirmed that the United States never keeps its word. “Everything that has been done (to hold elections) is in something called the Barbados Agreement, but beyond that agreement (...) there are some decisions and commitments of the United States Government and it has not fulfilled any one, on the contrary; and the Bolivarian Government has fulfilled everything,” he said.

He confirmed that thanks to the conscience and example of Commander Hugo Chávez, this People and the soldiers of the Fatherland, we have resisted and will continue to resist the attacks of imperialism and its lackeys.

In the same way, he specified that today the word of "Chávez is valid for everyone (...) All of Commander Chávez's words are valid: 'Go fuck yourself', you won't be able to handle us (...). The day you dare to set foot here in Venezuela, by any means or harm this country, we go for your partners here, we are not going to sink a fifth column in our own country,” he said.

“We are not going to leave each other (...) this country belongs to a people who stood up and said: this country is mine and I will not let it be taken away by anyone else ever (...) ) We will always continue to win elections with Chávez,” he said.

Nobody let their guard down

The also deputy to the National Assembly (AN) called on the People not to let down their guard, since imperialism and its lackeys, because they are in electoral times, will activate all their media machinery in the campaign to continue attacking Venezuela.

“ They don't care about anything at all, they don't provide any single evidence, and it 's also proven that the blessed Cartel of the Suns doesn't exist, it's an invention of the DEA (...) the campaign against Venezuela comes with everything, no one lets down their guard,” said Cabello, referring to the irresponsible accusation published in the media DW in Spanish.

He pointed out that all these campaigns, driven by imperialism and its lackeys, only seek to demoralize the people. “Are we going to be demoralized at this point? Do they deserve us to close? (...) Do our children and grandchildren deserve to see this country rule over those who destroyed it for more than 200 years? It's not good,” he said.

He assured that a war against Venezuela is currently taking place through false accusations of various kinds, “What haven't they accused us of these days?” , he inquired.

He also mentioned that the news matrix against the Organized Crime Structure Group (GEDO) El Tren de Aragua is an attack against Venezuela and the Bolivarian Government. “They don't mention the Aragua Train in the note, but CNN includes it and we're not defending the Aragua Train, but in the end it's not the Aragua Train, in the end the attack is against Venezuela, as the President says to affect him,”

For this reason, he reaffirmed that there is a people here that resists and that they will not allow themselves to be demoralized. “We are the change, because this country was governed for more than 200 years by groups and Chávez arrived and ordered it to stop (...) this people have a lot of conscience and that has allowed us to withstand all the attacks and from all this situation we have emerged stronger.”

Israel continues to exterminate a people

Cabello questioned that murderous, genocidal and cowardly Israeli Zionism continues to “exterminate a People and the world in silence, there is no International Court of Justice (ICJ) there, there is nothing there.”

It also rejected the Israeli regime's recent unfounded accusations against Venezuela and Iran.

“ Zionism came out Israel accusing Venezuela and Iran that we were going to attack Israel. What do we have to do there?” , he emphasized.

In this regard, he stressed that Venezuela does not mess with anyone and argued that the Zionists “accuse us of barbarities that only they (Israel) commit.”
