This Wednesday, December 17, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that what really bothers US imperialism is that the Venezuelan people are a decent people.
“If it's a people that are not, I mean the United States doesn't care that they have oil, but here there is a decent people who know how to defend what belongs to them,” he said.
He argued that the United States “targeted psychological terrorism against our people 17 months ago, that's nothing else.”
“We are a humble people, we are quiet, small, barely 30 million. We are a very healthy people,” he said.
In that sense, he argued that the narrative of a drug state is false, “it's not true that we help terrorists, that's pure straw. It's not true about the Aragua Train, it doesn't exist.”
During his Con El Mazo Dando program, on broadcast number 556, he stated that “here in Venezuela, the Aragua Train did not pass through Aragua and these days I heard Mr. Trump say that the Aragua Train governed Colorado. It's the narrative of lies.”
