The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, referring to research published by The New York Times, in which he points out that up to 70% of the world's supply of cocaine flows through Ecuadorian territory, asked why isn't the U.S. government doing anything in Ecuador?
“The United States government doesn't do anything in Ecuador because that country is the one that guarantees that drugs reach the North American,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando #555 program.
The NYT research indicates that Ecuador is experiencing unprecedented levels of violence and criminal pressure after becoming the corridor for international mafias, which achieved strategic port infrastructure and consolidated export routes.
