CABELUM receives national award for advances in science and technology in Venezuela

CABELUM, a company supervised by the Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG), was awarded a distinguished Special Prize in Science and Technology for the development and manufacture of aluminum welding wire.
The Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology granted this prestigious recognition to CVG CABELUM, highlighting its exceptional contribution to the country's technological development and its capacity to generate innovative and cutting-edge solutions.
The award, within the framework of the 20th Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán National Science, Technology and Innovation Awards, values not only the final result, but also ingenuity, the creative process and teamwork. This special award highlights the development of a technology considered to be highly innovative and with significant potential to positively impact the national productive sector.
Representing the innovative workforce, workers Erick Luna and Cristóbal Briceño were honored to receive the award, being the architects of this invention that reaffirms Cabelum's commitment to technological sovereignty.
The solemn award ceremony took place in the city of Caracas and was attended by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, and leading figures from the national scientific field.
President Maduro highlighted the role of these awards in the context of State policies: “The award of the XX Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán National Prizes for Science, Technology and Innovation demonstrates the development of affirmative Venezuela, because we are a country of brilliant people. The activation of the Great Science Mission has made it possible to highlight all the advances of the Venezuelan scientific community.”
Through these awards, the Ministry seeks to promote innovative culture and to make visible those projects that, such as CABELUM's, represent significant progress and an example to follow for the country's scientific and productive community.
