CAF Marathon refines final operational details

This Thursday, the minister of popular power for sports, Franklin Cardillo, received in his office the president of the Organizing Committee of the Marathon of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF), Marisol Barrera, to refine the final details of the tenth edition of the CAF Marathon, which will open the 10-kilometer distance for the first time.

During the meeting, the minister expressed his satisfaction with the development of this event on February 8 and reiterated the commitment of the Ministry of Sport to provide all necessary support to runners and organizers.

Barrera assured that the event will be a great time to enjoy sports and the city of Caracas.

“At 6 in the morning we will be watching all the thousands of feet run on the asphalt of this beautiful city that has a route accompanied by macaws at the foot of Avila, on a day of civic and sporting joy. For this reason, I extend the invitation to the entire community to accompany these runners on a day that will undoubtedly be fantastic,” said the president of the organizing committee of the CAF marathon, quoted in a press release from the ministerial portfolio.
