The Venezuelan Embassy in the Congo reiterated its call for peace during the third donation to an orphanage in Brazzaville, to once again consolidate People's Diplomacy and continue to defend the truth of Venezuela.
Through a loving policy, the Venezuelan diplomatic corps to the Republic of Congo, accompanied by the Federation of Foreign Communities of Brazzaville, gave a donation of food and medicine to the orphanage “Maison Notre Dame de Nazareth”.
During the activity, Ambassador Laura Evangelia Suárez delivered medicines to treat various diseases, and I express that this donation is made with the deepest love of the Venezuelan People and Government, who are lovers of peace, oppose war and extend a hand to those most in need.
The delivery was accompanied by a representative of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Solidarity and Humanitarian Action of the Congo and the Cuban medical brigade, which provided medical care to the local boys and girls.
Subsequently, the Venezuelan Embassy and the Community of Foreigners of Brazzaville delivered a donation of non-perishable food, which was pleasantly received by the owner of the place, who stressed that the contribution will be of great help to meet the needs of the children.
Those present expressed their desire for peace for Venezuela and the Latin American and Caribbean region, noting Venezuela's love for peace and aid to the world's needy peoples.
The event was attended by the wife of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon, Françoise Yvette Nkoum-Me-Ntseny Née Mekongo, as well as the Deputy Operations Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Eugenie Makolet.
This is the third time that the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission has successfully organized a donation of food and medicine to an orphanage in Brazzaville, during this month of December.
The orphanage “Maison Notre Dame de Nazareth” was created on September 5, 1998, by Mother Marie Thérèse Onga Yolo, with the objective of providing shelter and care for more than 20 homeless girls and boys in the neighborhood.
