Call for Research Projects led by women is held until this Friday

The Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT) is keeping an open call for funding research projects led by women, an initiative that will close on April 24.
According to Minister Gabriela Jiménez, in a press release from the ministerial portfolio, registration is carried out through the portal of the National Observatory for Science, Technology and Innovation (Oncti), and it is an essential requirement that participants be registered in the Venezuelan Registry of Science, Technology and Innovation (RECITVEN).
Deputy Minister Carmen Virginia Liendo stressed that this call seeks to support scientists and innovators in creating solutions for the country 's real needs. The proposals must be aligned with strategic areas such as agri-food security, health, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and the mitigation of climate change, thus promoting technical and sovereign development from a female perspective.
This call is part of the Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission, with the objective of strengthening the National Science and Technology System.
