Call for volunteers under the National Reforestation Plan is open

The call for volunteers was opened to join the planting work in the second phase of the Chuquisaca National Reforestation Plan. This was reported by authorities from the Ministry of People's Power for Ecosocialism (Minec) at a meeting with environmental movements and the media.
The head of the Mother Earth Mission, Simon Arrechider, detailed the steps for registering volunteers. The process will be carried out through the website, which has a direct link for the registration of individuals, public and private companies, popular organizations, environmentalists, schools and universities.
Arrequider explained that there are seven (7) types of participation for volunteers, segmented as follows:
- Adoption of a tree, where the volunteer receives a tree, plants it and cares for it on land chosen by himself.
- Participate in planting days, which will take place up to twice a week in each state.
- Donation of a plant, in which the volunteer donates one or more plants of their property to be added to the plan.
- Seed supply, where seeds from fruit, medicinal or forest trees will be received.
- Sponsor a nursery, where the volunteer supports the increase of the production capacities of these centers.
- Tree Keeper, where the volunteer is involved in the plant care process.
- Logistic volunteers, where the volunteer supports the transportation of these resources.
The volunteer registration process for the Chuquisaca National Reforestation Plan is now operational.
