The candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), for the Government of the Monagas state, Ernesto Luna, held a meeting this Thursday, May 15, with producers and entrepreneurs from the parish of El Corozo, in the west of the Maturín municipality, where he made commitments for productive growth,
The organized town of this town is integrated into the “Corozo, Sweet Heart and Revolutionary” Productive Commune, divided into six sectors with a population of 5,625 inhabitants, reported the website of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
The inhabitants of the sector exposed to Luna the productive benefits of the area, agricultural items such as beans, corn, orange, milky, sweet and bitter cassava, lemon parchita, patilla, cacao and eggplant, in addition to animal husbandry.
In the same way, they stated that the entrepreneurs carry out activities of: baking, baking; artisanal cheese production, Creole confectionery, artisanal casabe and crafts, among others.
Among the commitments made by Luna, is to finance the planting of corn to 50 small producers, a donation from a rotocultivator to plow the land and the provision of loans to 20 entrepreneurs.
On the other hand, to continue strengthening Popular Power in the area, he promised to carry out, through Aguas de Monagas, the sanitation of wastewater in the Las Madriceras 1 and Maquedonia sectors, as well as the revision of the water pump board in the El Romeral sector, so that water reaches their homes.
He specified that in order to guarantee optimal spaces for learning, he will make adjustments to the “José Gregorio Monagas” Preschool, to favor 142 children. “It's going to be very nice, we're going to air conditioning it and once we finish those jobs we'll see where we started first if it's school or high school,” he added.
He also pointed out that he will be the sponsor of the promotion of the “Salvador Medina Prado” High School, where 45 students will graduate from high school in Science.
