The research consultancy firm Ideadatos published this
Friday the most recent survey, which reveals that the presidential candidate of the
Great Patriotic Pole (GPP), Nicolás Maduro Moros, continues to be a leader with a wide margin
of electorate preference, with 55.9% of support from the sample of 983 respondents.
The survey was carried out of a
stratified-probabilistic nature, from July 12 to 17, 2024 at a
national level, with a universe composed of Venezuelans of both sexes, over
18 years of age; and a margin of sampling error of +/- 3% for a confidence level of 95.5%.
“If the elections were tomorrow, who would you vote for?” It was
the key question of the sampling; and the results show that the candidate
Maduro, from the revolutionary forces, accumulates more than half of the electoral support.
Meanwhile, the candidate Edmundo González, of the Democratic
Unitary Platform, has barely more than a fifth of the electoral support
, with 22.4% of support. The other opposition candidates accumulate, together,
only 13.3% of electoral support. Finally, 8.4% of those
interviewed either don't know or didn't answer about it.
Regarding their willingness to participate in the
electoral process on July 28, 59.9% answered that
they will undoubtedly vote; 13.4% said they probably would; another 17.8% do not know or do not
respond and, finally, 8.9% indicated that they will definitely not go to vote.
