CANTV and the People's Power consolidate 2,000 Technical Telecommunications Boards in the country

In the Nuevo Prado sector, Santa Rosalía parish in Caracas, the 2,000th Telecommunications Technical Board (MTT) was formed, representing an important milestone in the consolidation of the organizational balances promoted by the company throughout the country.

The formation of MTT linked to the Communal Self-Government Chambers in each territory constitute the company's work strategy to ensure that its deployment in the expansion and modernization of telecommunications services is carried out in perfect coordination with the Popular Power, reinforcing the exercise of participatory, direct and leading democracy in the construction of the Communal State.

This CANTV/community articulation gives speed and quality to technical and commercial activities, insofar as they timely and accurately meet the needs of telecommunications services identified, prioritized and prioritized by the community in its Concrete Agendas of Action.

This achievement is part of the management line promoted since the renationalization of CANTV in 2007, which establishes the deployment of telecommunications services in conjunction with the People's Power within the framework of the Technological Modernization Plan implemented by the company in the country, which contemplates the change from copper to fiber optic networks using GPON technology, to provide high speed connection through the Aba Ultra service.

Pedro Sansonetti, spokesperson for the MTT “Gran Colombia Socialista”, highlighted the impact of joint work between technicians and the community. “We are benefiting from the installation of fiber optics, which has significantly improved Internet speed, access to streaming services and telephony in our community,” he said.

CANTV reaffirms its commitment to move forward with the People's Power in guaranteeing access to telecommunications throughout the national territory.
