CANTV brought high-speed Internet service to the University of Carabobo

The National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) activated an Ultra Zone at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Carabobo (UC), located in the municipality of Naguanagua, with the objective of providing high speed Internet access to students, teachers and administrative staff.

The launch of the service was attended by the president of CANTV, MG. Iván Rafael Hernández Dala, who stressed that the company will continue to promote actions to strengthen and optimize telecommunications in this house of studies.

Similarly, according to a press release, Samantha Torres, a fifth-year student studying Chemical Engineering, stressed that, through Zona Ultra, she will consult various digital content. “We are excited about this initiative,” he said.

For his part, Professor Bill Torres indicated that the service represents an advance to continue improving access to connectivity for students and teachers. “We will continue to work together with CANTV,” he added.
