As part of its response actions to the recent earthquakes in the country, the Venezuelan National Anonymous Telephone Company (CANTV) completed the first phase of its special connectivity plan in the state of La Guaira.
As part of the deployment, a multidisciplinary team from the company installed more than 17 kilometers of fiber optics and state-of-the-art technology in the temporary camps and strategic spaces enabled for emergency care. Thanks to this effort, the operability of high-speed internet services, IP telephony and Wi-Fi connectivity was guaranteed at the prioritized points for logistical coordination and citizen assistance.
Currently, according to a press release, work remains focused on expanding and strengthening the telecommunications infrastructure, in order to facilitate coordination efforts and support the state's recovery phases.
CANTV continues to be deployed in the entity, in coordination with technical crews to support community care and the operation of strategic infrastructures.
