The Venezuelan National Anonymous Telephone Company (CANTV) delivered Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP Telephony services to more than 890 homes, businesses and public institutions in the Pueblo Nuevo and Polígono de Tiro sectors, in San Cristóbal, Táchira state.

The activity included the participation of a multidisciplinary team led by the president of the Company, Iván Rafael Hernández Dala, together with regional authorities and the spokespersons of the Telecommunications Technical Board “Pueblo Nuevo Victorioso”, who received certificates in recognition of their commitment and participation in training workshops given by the Company.

As part of the agenda, the Ultra Zone was inaugurated in Plaza María del Carmen Ramírez Briceño in Barrio Obrero, bringing connectivity closer to families and passers-by.

“We arrived hand in hand with the organized people, democratizing telecommunications services. We are a company with more than 95 years of experience, deploying optical fiber and replacing copper to offer a quality service,” said Hernández Dala, a CANTV press review.

The Ultra Zone allows Internet access by scanning a QR code. In San Cristóbal, these spaces are active in Barrio Obrero and Pueblo Nuevo, in addition to a temporary service provided during the Expo Feria Táchira 2026.
