The National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) incorporated new Ultra Zones in health centers in the capital region, in accordance with the guidelines of the Bolivarian Government aimed at expanding access to telecommunications and facilitating connection in spaces dedicated to medical care.
The installed points allow navigation using a QR code and are already operational in the parish of San Juan, in the square of the Dr. Carlos Arvelo Military Hospital, a structure that also has more than 116 fiber optic connections with Aba Ultra and IP Telephony distributed in different areas.
Another Ultra Zone has been put into service in the emergency room of the Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital, in the parish of El Paraíso. In addition, new connectivity points have been activated in the “Ana Francisca Pérez de León I and II” hospitals, located in Petare, in the municipality of Sucre, in the state of Miranda.
The selection of these places was coordinated with the spokespersons of the Technical Telecommunications Boards and the workers, together with the president of CANTV, M/G. Iván Rafael Hernández Dala, giving priority to their use by patients, health professionals and people who circulate through these centers.
With these actions, CANTV is making progress in expanding public connectivity and maintaining its line of modernization of telecommunications services, as part of the strategies to strengthen digital access for the population.
