CANTV holds a workshop for spokespersons of the Technical Telecommunications Boards in Bolivar

Representatives of the National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) and spokespersons for the Technical Telecommunications Boards (MTT) of the Caroní municipality, Bolívar state, participated in a state meeting aimed at strengthening community organization and advancing the modernization of telecommunications services.

The conference, held at the Municipal Government House of the La Llovizna housing estate, was attended by 20 MTT, whose members exchanged experiences and proposed proposals to accompany the development of the Technological Modernization Plan that contemplates the modernization of copper to fiber optic networks.

The activity also brought together representatives of FUNDACITE, Infocentro, the Municipal Council of Caroní and the Secretariat of Communes of the Government of the Bolivar State, strengthening coordination between institutions and organized communities.

Zoe Contreras, spokesperson for the MTT of the Los Alacranes community, Simon Bolivar parish in the Caroní municipality, highlighted the support of CANTV in community training and organization to promote telecommunications projects.

“The CANTV team goes to organized communities to accompany us during the formation of telecommunications projects; it is our responsibility to coordinate so that optical fiber reaches our communities. In addition, to receive the workshops given by the Company's public servants in relation to ICTs, the care and protection of connectivity networks, among other topics,” he emphasized.

He also highlighted that these actions contribute to the country's technological modernization process and to the strengthening of essential services such as health and education, through fiber-based solutions that promote the quality of life of communities.
