CANTV improves connectivity in Yaracuy with more than 4,400 services

During the first half of 2026, the National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) carried out a set of technical tasks for the recovery and improvement of fixed telephone and Internet services in the state of Yaracuy, allowing connectivity to be restored in more than 4,400 homes, businesses and institutions.

The interventions are part of the Comprehensive Failure Resolution Plan and were nourished by reports channeled through the VenApp of the 1x10 Good Governance System, a tool that facilitates direct communication between communities and entities responsible for public services, according to a press release.

The works spread across ten municipalities of the entity: Bruzual, Cocorote, Independencia, José Antonio Páez, La Trinidad, Peña, San Felipe, Sucre, Urachiche and Veroes, in conjunction with the Technical Telecommunications Boards, instances of community participation that contribute to the detection and prioritization of incidents.

Rosa Pirela, a resident of the Barrio Bolívar sector, Independencia municipality, valued the ease of the reporting system and the prompt response of the technical staff. “I am very happy with the attention. Now I can call my whole family again because my phone line is repaired,” he said.

CANTV indicated that it will continue with the maintenance and recovery of networks in the region, with the purpose of ensuring the continuity and quality of telecommunications services for Yaracuyans.
