CANTV inaugurated New Ultra Zone at the El Obelisco de Barquisimeto Monument

CANTV inaugurated a new Ultra Zone in the emblematic El Obelisco Monument, located west of Barquisimeto, incorporating high-speed WiFi connectivity by scanning a QR code in one of the most iconic spots in the state of Lara.

This initiative is part of the plan to modernize the old telephone booths in high-traffic spaces, which now operate on the Company's fiber optic network.

The activity was led by the president of CANTV, Iván Rafael Hernández Dala, who also led a day of service delivery in Industrial Zone I of the capital of Larense, strengthening technological development in the industrial and commercial sector, which is key to boosting the dynamism of the entity's economic engine.

During the deployment, services were also delivered at the FUNDACITE headquarters and the home of Mrs. Irene Torres, in the La Antena community, was visited, where the operation of Aba Ultra, IP Telephony and the subscription television service Aba TV GO were verified.

The commitment to social organization was reaffirmed at a meeting with the People's Power and the Technical Telecommunications Board (MTT) Pío Tamayo.

In this space, a certification of knowledge was carried out to spokespersons who participated in the training processes organized by the Company, empowering the community in the management and protection of technology.

In this way, CANTV continues its deployment in Industrial Zone I and the La Antena sector, consolidating GPON technology in businesses and homes.
