CANTV installed fiber-optic services to 600 subscribers in Bolívar

CANTV connected the Aba Ultra service to more than 600 subscribers who live in the Curagua housing estate, in Puerto Ordaz, Caroní municipality in the state of Bolívar. New users of the fiber optic service began to enjoy high-speed Internet, in addition to Aba TV GO and IP Telephony.

According to a press release from CANTV, with the delivery of the service in this community in the Unare parish of Bolívar state, the company has more than 5,900 subscribers in the residential and legal segment connected through GPON technology.

Company Authorities, led by CANTV's Vice President of Technology and Infrastructure, Cnel. Marylim Colmenares, carried out an inspection tour of the sector to verify the proper functioning of services in homes and businesses in the area.

They also visited the “Bolivarian Julia Rodríguez Viña” Educational Unit, where in addition to the inspection, a meeting was held with spokespersons from the Technical Telecommunications Boards, who presented cartographies and projects to be developed in their communities. They also received certificates for their participation in training workshops given by public servants of the Company.

The day in Puerto Ordaz also included an inspection visit to the Remote Unit, which is currently being modernized, to bring the Aba Ultra service to more communities.
