During the first quarter of 2025, CANTV technicians answered more than 54,000 reports in the Capital region, as part of the actions carried out by the company to ensure the connectivity of homes and businesses in the country.
According to a CANTV press release, the technicians were deployed so that in the Capital District more than 23 thousand users, both residential and commercial, could recover telephone and Internet services, after making their reports through the VenApp.
Meanwhile, in the state of La Guaira, approximately 3,600 faults were resolved, while in Miranda, services were restored to more than 27,000 users.
The tasks carried out by the technical staff included preventive and corrective maintenance on networks and transmission equipment, replacement of cables, strips, sleeves and connectors, reconstruction of joints and verification of telephone lines.
This progress was possible thanks to the timely response to incidents recorded in networks and transmission media, affected by deterioration, acts of theft and vandalism, damage caused by third parties and adverse weather conditions.
