CANTV reestablished telecommunications services to more than 23,000 subscribers in Los Llanos

In the first quarter of the year, CANTV restored fixed telephone and Internet services to more than 23,200 households, businesses and public institutions in the five states that make up the Los Llanos region.


According to a press release from the telephone company, the action was carried out in conjunction with the Technical Telecommunications Boards and was part of the care provided by CANTV through the Comprehensive Failure Resolution Plan and the 1x10 Good Governance system.


In the Apure state, the services of more than 4,000 subscribers were restored, while in Barinas, another 5,200 users benefited.


In Cojedes, 2,400 homes and businesses were served; in Guárico 7,350 and in Portuguesa more than 3,200.


The tasks carried out by the technical staff consisted of the comprehensive maintenance and optimization of the transmission media that were affected by humidity, deterioration, theft and vandalism.
