As part of the Comprehensive Breakdown Resolution Plan, CANTV restored fixed telephone and Internet services to 240 families in different communities in Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas state, during the month of February.

According to a press release from the telephone company, the technical staff was deployed in the Fernando Girón Tovar and Luis Alberto Gómez parishes in the Atures municipality, with the objective of ensuring connectivity in the following communities: Guaicapuro I and II, Simón Rodríguez, José María Vargas, La Florida, San Enrique, Periferico Sur and Andrés Eloy Blanco. The approach also included Atabapo, Ayacucho and Piar streets, as well as Orinoco and Rio Negro avenues.

Technical work included corrective maintenance of local transmission networks, including replacing cables, changing sleeves, rebuilding joints and checking house-to-house telephone lines.

In this way, the company responded to reports made by users through the VenApp of Good Governance 1X10 and the service channels provided by the institution.
