CANTV restored services to nearly 7,000 Mirandino subscribers

During the month of July, CANTV restored telephone and Internet services to more than 7,000 subscribers in Miranda state, after resolving faults in networks and transmission media due to deterioration, theft and vandalism, damage caused by third parties, weather conditions, and other factors.

According to a press release from the company, the workers answered reports made, through the VenApp of the 1x10 of Good Governance, by residential and commercial users in the Metropolitan Area that includes the municipalities of Baruta, Chacao, Sucre and El Hatillo, where more than 4,200 families were once again connected.

In addition, in the Valles del Tuy, nearly 1,400 faults were solved, while in the Altos Mirandinos, approximately 700 subscribers were serviced.

On the Guarenas-Guatire axis, CANTV carried out various tasks to guarantee services to more than 400 families, while in Barlovento the technical deployment served another group of more than 260 users.

The tasks carried out by the technical staff included: corrective and preventive maintenance of transmission networks and equipment, replacement of cables, strips, sleeves, connectors, reconstruction of splices and checking of telephone lines.
