CANTV restored telecommunications services to more than 89,000 subscribers in the country

During the month of May, Cantv restored telecommunications services to more than 89,000 subscribers across the country, after resolving faults in networks and transmission media, due to deterioration, theft and vandalism, damage caused by third parties, weather conditions, and other factors.

According to a press release from the company, the Capital region obtained the highest number of resolved cases, with approximately 31,000 users served in the states of La Guaira, Miranda and the Capital District. Second, the Eastern region was located, where fixed telephone and Internet services were restored to around 13,700 subscribers.

In addition, the Central region with 12,300 resolved cases and Guiana with more than 9,400. In addition, in the Los Llanos region, 9,300 incidents were treated and in the West more than 7,000.

Finally, in the region of Los Andes, connectivity services were restored to more than 6,300 users, through various deployments carried out by Cantv technicians.

The tasks carried out included: corrective and preventive maintenance of networks and transmission equipment, replacement of cables, strips, sleeves, connectors, reconstruction of joints and checking of telephone lines.
