CANTV workers remain deployed to ensure connectivity in health centers and other strategic spaces intended for the care of the population, following the earthquakes that occurred last June 24.

The actions, according to a press release from the company, include the activation of Ultra Zones, technological spaces that modernize old telephone booths using fiber optics, allowing access to the Internet by scanning a QR code. This technology facilitates connectivity in emergency situations and helps maintain communication between patients, family members and health personnel.

These solutions were enabled at the Guarenas-Guatire Hospital, the Pérez Carreño Hospital, the Los Magallanes Hospital in Catia and the Peripheral Hospital in Catia.

In addition, CANTV is carrying out work to install GPON services in the Venezuela Rescue Group, as part of supporting institutions linked to emergency care and citizen protection.

The work of technical crews, specialized personnel and support teams has been essential to ensure the continuity of telecommunications services in priority spaces for the care of the population.
