CANTV will modernize connectivity in 300 health centers in the country

The Venezuelan Telephone Company (CANTV) began its participation in the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Comprehensive Hospital Recovery Plan.
According to information released by CANTV, this plan seeks to provide connectivity in 300 health centers to modernize the hospital system.
In this regard, it became known that ministerial working groups were held to coordinate the technical deployment that will optimize telecommunications services in healthcare facilities.
In this initial phase, it is planned to serve nine prioritized hospitals in Greater Caracas, Miranda and La Guaira ; among these beneficiary institutions, the Domingo Luciani Hospital, the J.M. de los Ríos, the Concepción Palacios Maternity Hospital, the Dr. José María Vargas Hospital and the Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital stand out.
“Technical tasks include the survey, modernization and optimization of telephony and Internet, prioritizing critical areas such as emergencies, medical records and administration. The objective is to ensure stable links that facilitate the use of high-tech equipment and more efficient administrative management,” he said.
