CANTV participates in the “Dr. José Gregorio Hernández” Comprehensive Hospital Recovery Plan, which includes the care of 300 health centers across the country, assuming the strengthening of connectivity as a key axis for the modernization of the hospital system.
The company's participation began with a ministerial working group, aimed at coordinating the technical deployment that will make it possible to optimize telecommunications services in healthcare facilities.
As part of this plan, CANTV will guarantee high-speed Internet services supported by fiber optic technology, as well as the adaptation of the network infrastructure to improve the internal communication and operability of health centers.
During this first phase, efforts will be focused on nine prioritized hospitals in Greater Caracas, Miranda and La Guaira, including the Domingo Luciani Hospital, J.M. de los Ríos, the Concepción Palacios Maternity Hospital, the Dr. José María Vargas Hospital and the Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital.
The tasks include the technical survey, modernization and optimization of telephone and Internet services, with special attention to critical areas such as emergencies, medical records, administration and spaces with high-tech equipment, ensuring stable links for more efficient management.
Recent experiences show that the installation of Aba Ultra in health spaces significantly improves connectivity for patients and medical staff, facilitating hospital management and access to digital services.
