CANTV workers deploy technical operation to restore telecommunications in La Guaira

The workers of the National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) maintain a technical and operational deployment in the state of La Guaira with the firm intention of restoring the telecommunications networks that were affected by the earthquakes recorded last June 24.

The state company reported that the maneuvers on the ground include the installation of fiber optics and the strengthening of connectivity in strategic spaces, an action aimed at immediately optimizing care for the population affected by the contingency.

The operational reports detailed that among the prioritized points is the International Rescuer Command Post, located in the Maritime Customs Office, in addition to the temporary shelters of the Bolipuerto de La Guaira, in the Maiquetía parish, and the Jorge Luis García Carneiro Stadium, in Macuto.

The institution specified that civil deployment also ensures service in key educational and community spaces, including the Lorenzo González Educational Unit, the Republic of Panama Educational Complex, sector 10 de Marzo and other assistance centers focused on Catia La Mar.
