The Venezuelan Anonymous Telephone Company (CANTV) guaranteed high-speed connectivity during the 2026 Regional Creative Robotics Olympics, held at the Venezuela Pavilion, in San Cristóbal, Táchira state. The event brought together more than 250 young people, who demonstrated their skills in programming, designing and developing robotic solutions, in a day aimed at boosting national scientific talent.
The activity was promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), through the National Scientific Seed Program, as part of a public policy aimed at training new generations in strategic areas of knowledge.
The technical deployment of CANTV made it possible to ensure connectivity throughout the competition. In addition, the Company had an institutional stand where it presented the advances in technological modernization and the benefits of the Aba Ultra service.
En the day, the Deputy Minister for the Communalization of Science for Production, Danmarys Hernández, highlighted that these types of initiatives strengthen the training of Scientific Seedbeds in areas such as programming, electronics and engineering, in coordination with national policies for educational and technological development.
In addition, the participants enjoyed digital leisure spaces with online video game experiences and high definition virtual reality, thanks to the joint work between CANTV, FUNDACITE and the Great Venezuela Youth Mission.
Con these actions, CANTV reaffirms its commitment to the country's scientific and technological development, guaranteeing access to telecommunications as a key tool for education and the future of Venezuelan youth.
