The governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, signed the formal document that begins the development of the twinning between this Venezuelan entity and the province of Shanghai, as a result of the agreements reached by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and his counterpart Xi Jinping, during his official visit to China last year.
The information was provided by Lavava, through his account on the social network X, in which he specified that “today we formally signed our twinning and cooperation agreement with our friend and brother Gong Zheng, mayor of the most developed city in the world such as Shanghai”.
“This agreement will make it possible to channel and materialize investments for Carabobo and for the entire country in many of the sectors for the development of our country system. This great tool will generate a prosperous future of work and wealth for all our people,” he said.
During this meeting, Lacava indicated that Carabobo has had a transformative tradition for more than 70 years, which now needs new allies and partners, who can be counted on in the short, medium and long term for sincere relationships, such as those built with the People's Republic of China.
He pointed out that there are the energy sector, the oil sector, the naval industry, the automotive industry, among others.
