Carabobo: Bolivarian Government rehabilitates Puerto Cabello hospital affected by the double earthquake

This Tuesday, work began to recover the pediatric emergency area of the Adolfo Prince Lara Hospital (HAPL) located in the municipality of Puerto Cabello, in the state of Carabobo .

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, after the double earthquake, this place was affected, so work is being carried out to install the ceiling, lighting, wall cladding with cracks and painting, in addition to the rehabilitation of the floors and equipment.

Ramón Rojas, director of the hospital, said that “although there are some areas involved, the healthcare center has not limited its work in serving the population of the coast of Falcón and Carabobo .”

Rojas indicated that these works will allow the prompt operation of all areas of the hospital for the care of more than 10,000 children per month.

“Despite the damage caused by the earthquake double to the hospital's infrastructure, it has been operational, even since June 24,” he said.
